My Hungarian grandmother used to be a collector of dolls. Porcelain faced, angelic, life-like, satanic and horribly frightening dolls. I hated those dolls. I still hate those dolls. The way they stare. The way they peer into your soul, hoping for a moment of weakness where they can swoop in and suck the life from your body.
That’s why I’ve NEVER slept with one of these creepy dolls anywhere near me. Still won’t.
Freak. Me. Out.
But! I can be eternally grateful that she never had anything like this to frighten me for I may have never slept again. Ever.
22″ TALL VERY SLENDER DESIGNER DOLL. PORCELAIN HEAD AND LOWER LIMBS. GLASS EYE. SCULPTED MOUTH. DISTRESSED ANTIQUE HANDMADE CLOTHING AND HAT.
A glass eye. A single glass eye? That’s because the other one is REAL! It’s from the poor child that unknowingly fell asleep in this doll’s presence and SHE STOLE ITS EYE!

HAHA! While the commentary made me roll, that doll is all kinds of WTFCREEPY. Kind of reminds me of Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.
Emphasis on nightmare.
I always hated those dolls too. Still do. They’re right up there with clowns.

I never liked dolls either and feel guilty that I can’t hang a perfectly good, framed Madam Alexander doll for fear she’ll escape and hit me with the basket she’s carrying.
