I’m probably not a good person to ask. I’ve been a vegetarian since the 1980′s. But does anyone really find a watercolor of a turkey carcass appealing?

Tell me it doesn’t kind of look like a lady…a big headless lady…and the bleeding cranberries add a nice, macabre touch. Just $400, in time for Thanksgiving.

I don’t know what it is about Thanksgiving in particular that makes crafters lose their minds. Maybe it’s the general weakness of the turkey as craft imagery. Maybe it’s a result of Halloween over-crafting. Maybe it’s just too much food.

Whatever it is, I hope for the sake of small children everywhere that the holiday is over quickly, and with less pain than this kid on the right is feeling. I’m with you, Dakota. What the f*#% is your mom thinking?

I really don’t know what to do with this thing. A zebra skin leopard turkey with an owl face sewn onto some Communist-issue school uniform? They couldn’t even find a kid willing to wear this for the photo shoot, lest their humiliation be permanently documented. What did little Hayden do to deserve this type of passive-aggressive punishment?
