Rad Pads. Or Not.

I’ve never been really crafty and all but I think if I was, I’d tend to stay away from anything involving nether regions and/or bodily fluids. Today’s uhm, artist has managed to combine both.

And added a freaking clown.

And look, they are even seasonal. Too bad they don’t have witches and zombies to match my mood during that blessed time.

All fabrics washed and dried before sewn, these are “ready to wear”! Oh hell no – I think not. I’ll stick a cork up my hoochie first.

Look, I wear cloth pads, and I will never, never understand the impulse that makes people put decorative fabrics on them.

(Mine are boring old white, or in one case I tore up an old sheet and it has faded florals on it. THe bleach takes a toll, anyway, why would you put prints on them to begin with?)

I use cloth pads with patterns and a non-bleach detergent and hand-wash. I know. I thought it was weird and gross at first, too, but since I started using cloth pads I am WAY more comfy: I almost never get a yeast infection anymore, I save lots of money, it’s good for the environment because there is a LOT less waste.

Gee, that’s awkward. I’d fear to be bitten in my delicate parts by scary-looking Ronald MacDonald.
