I had to sign up for this website in order to see this submission.  As I was signing up, I thought, “Oh! Maybe I’ll get a free pattern that will inspire me to pick up the knitting needles again.”

That? Did not happen.

Mostly because I don’t understand.  Leg warmers had a purpose.  Knee high socks had a purpose.  Pom poms tied to the front of your legs?  Yeah, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore.  Sweet Lady Gaga*, who thought of this?

   Jesus Mary and Joseph, this made me CRY when I opened the Lion Brand email.

   I loathe the designs that they choose for crocheting. They’re the WORST representatives of what can be done with a hook.
