Does NOT mean you should.
70′s called. They want their shorts back.
BTW. I bet these babies would give ya a TOTAL camel toe. Just sayin’.
Who wears short shorts!?
*scritch, scritch, scritch* I just don’t know…. I think it may be um… HOT and well, itchy. Knitted thong? Ya. Um. I… No.

Not going to lie, I think the knitted garter belt is hot in an avant garde unwearable sort of way. Those shorts — oh! those shorts! — on the other hand… Like, look, I feel like by 2009 we as a society have pretty mch agreed that shorts are unwearable by adults as it is. Why throw knitting into the equation?!

Now I kind of want knitted stockings. I’m thinking they will help with my ongoing problem of when winter meets my lack of double glazing.
On the other hand, I am kind of conceptually overwhelmed with the notion of the crochet Spanx. Maybe it’s someone who’s been exposed to my mother’s diatribes about the Importance of Warming The Kidneys and the Ovaries.

Okay, despite the floral shirt and pink shorts, I totally thought that was a dude in the second pic. With a miniscule schlong.

And I totally think I will be bypassing any notion of a wool thong. Crotch itch, anyone?
That must be the polar opposite of white cotton panties.

Shorts–both crocheted…I think it is a dude in the second pair.
Garter belt & thong are made from a very nice cotton/nylon blend, just like your normal panties, not wool…sorry, gotta defend the knitter here. Hardly compares to what is normally posted here–menstrual pad art? just ick.

My granny used to knit sexy garters and thong panties like that when I was a kid. She used to walk around the house in them- man did the knit stretch out, her stocking used to look like anklets. Glad to see that they are coming back in fashion. Brings back memories

The Fug Girls (www.gofugyourself.com) have a category for this – it’s called “Oh honey no” – I think that about sums it up.
My kid sister would have said “NOooooooo!!!!! Itchy scratchy!!!!!!!!!!”
I’m inclined to agree.
FAIL

Hi, I’m the owner of that first pair of striped crocheted hot pants – I followed the link from my website to here. I just need to point out they they were commercially made, in Hong Kong as opposed to hand crafted. Hot pants were a brief (thank god) fashion frenzy in the 1970s and led to a lot of regrettable looks. These might have been paired with one of those granny circle crocheted vests in equally gaudy colors, tights, and boots or chunky mod shoes. What were we thinking….
Anyway, amusing blog entry. Maybe someone will get these for Halloween? They’re actually soft, not itchy. Thanks!
