Oddly, I think it’s kind of pretty. I’d wear it.

  2. Katherine Says:

Yeah… I kinda want it… Is that terrible?

  3. Karen Sugarpants Says:

You two have been reading this site so long, your standards have fallen to the wayside. IT’S A FORK DUDES.

  4. Katherine Says:

Well, I never said I’m ACTUALLY wear it… My sensibilities are just not totally offended by it’s existence. :P Can’t say the same for some of the other crafts you’ve posted, so in relation to those, this one? Not so bad.

I can feel my sweater snagging right now.

I don’t see what’s wrong with it. I kind of like it. There’s a long standing tradition of having baby spoons made into ring so why not?

  7. Andie (11 comments.) Says:

    Well…as long as it’s a CLEAN fork….

  8. Shiyiya (3 comments.) Says:

Toothbrush is definitely worse. As others said, this is actually kinda pretty.
    .-= Shiyiya´s last post ..Not okay =-.

I have a fork ring that’s made from an antique fork. I know it’s antique because it still has the markings on the back.

I don’t know if I’d wear this, but it IS pretty.

It’s like a spoon ring or spoon bracelet, I like it and want a pretty stone placed on the curled tine. However it would totally catch on things and drive me a bit nuts.

I’m with the rest on this one – I kinda like it and have seen rings made of old silver spoons and forks before. Though I do also think it would call the swift end to a sweater, so you’d have to be careful! As long as the handle is pretty, too, I think it’s cute and quirky. Toothbrush, on the other hand? Ew.

    I dig this.

I love this!!!!! I have one! But mine’s a little prettier. They’re like spoon jewelry, but forkiery?

  16. BWelch (18 comments.) Says:

    I’d rawk this!

  17. Cherish (5 comments.) Says:

Not an all together HORRIBLE idea, creative. But yeah, it’s a FORK. You eat food with it. However, better than the toothbrush bracelet trend. Remember when piercing your fingernails was cool? I was getting my nails done today, and there was a lady that asked if they still did that, and she got it done, with purple tips with a silver line….CLASSY!

I have never heard of this before in my life and I am frightened o.o

Oh, and now that I think of it, could we have gotten a hairier arm on which to display the cutlery?

Those are quite common around here. They sell them at the markets and everyone seems to love them. I’ve always thought they were rather pretty. They make cufflinks and pendents as well : D

  21. Amanda (14 comments.) Says:

I kind of dig it…I *might* even wear it….(hides behind chair…)

I like fork bracelets, just not this one.

  23. Mary (1 comments.) Says:

This is just what I’ve been looking for! How many times have I been trapped in the car with no cutlery and yummy smelling take out I am dying to tear into? Problem solved. No more eating rice with my fingers while driving, FTW!

  24. Marilyn (ALotofLoves) (5 comments.) Says:

I actually kind of like the fork bracelet. The toothbrush thing? Not so much.

I’m in the “I like it” camp! Maybe because I love to cook so much?

  27. Kathy Says:

I like this too, and it’s nicely done. It’s definitely not the first time anyone’s done this. I’ve got a small 1970s-era book on how to make jewelry from old silverware (spoon rings, etc.), and it has instructions on how to make fork bracelets.

I have a friend who loves making forks into lighter holders. They’re the rage.

wow! this is very artistic. I wonder if you make something like this in a set like spoon, fork, knife haha

  32. Bean Says:

Yeah, I’d actually wear this one I think. Although, I wasn’t as greatly opposed to the toothbrush one (I WOULDN’T wear the toothbrush though).
