Can’t Sleep, Clown Will Eat Me

The look of agony on his face sends me into fits of giggles. The pain of wearing that sweater is evident in the constipated uncomfortable look. It’s like grandma made the sweater as a gift and he had to have That One Picture of him wearing it before he secretly burns it when they get home.

I can’t even think of anything to write because each time I look at it laugh until the tears are streaming down my face.

What I love most is his look of horror and disbelief. As though he has no idea how this stunning garment came to rest upon his frame. He must have been the first to pass out at the party, and in retribution his friends decided to dress him while he was incapacitated. And is this how he woke up, all hungover, sick with confusion and the graze of ancient red heart yarn against his skin.

I can’t stop laughing at the puffy sleeves.

that even outdoes the painted sweatshirts my grandma sent my family long ago. To my dad, she sent a sweatshirt she’d painted on. It was decorated with a target with three arrows planted in the bull’s eye. To me, a 13 year old I-hate-everything-Goth type kid, she sent a pink sweatshirt with a giant white kitty cat painted on the front. The topper was the real jingle bell she’d lovingly stitched on the kitty’s collar.

I feel very sorry for the guy in the photo. I know only a small fraction of his pain, and it is very real.

Girl, that totally made my night.

I was all ‘woe is me I am so freaking emo’ and then I saw that and KNOW that there are others way worse than me.

Should we start a support group for him? Or maybe buy him a matching hat.

    Kelley @ Magnetoboldtoo’s last blog post..It’s time.

wow, that is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. I love it, it’s hilarious.

  16. Mrs. Tantrum (9 comments.) Says:

Too bad that someone lovingly crafted this for Will and then made him put it on and blinded him with the camera flash in this atrocity. Now forever he is branded in that thing with a look of horror and fear on his face. Not to mention the fact that he will NEVER be able to host a circus or a reality TV show.
