It's warm, it's colorful, it holds a six pack - isn't that like Canadian lingerie?

Actually, I wore a very similar scarf for years when I lived on the East Coast. Mom, bless her heart, made it for me since I was a huge Dr. Who fan (Tom Baker--you never forget your first Doctor). It's really incredibly practical. The length is great when you have to site in a cold room (classroom, theatre, etc.). There's enough to wrap your head if you forget your hat and the wind really kicks up. Rolled it into a pillow more than once in the student union, which was a half a mile closer to most of my classes than the dorm (ah, college).
The pockets are just silly though.

This scarf would be a universal accessory in Fairbanks! We would all be sporting these scarf/winter chaps/alcohol toting duds when it warmed up to 0 degrees.

Ha-ha! Just what a drunk needs, a 10-foot scarf tangled around their legs!
Why is there not a separate "pot pocket"???!

Speaking as a Californian, (a) it's like 55 degrees here, and (b) I kinda like this. It's a scarf! It's kind of a skirt! It holds beer! What's not to love?

Californians can suck it. I love giant homemade scarves and the cozy winter weather that requires them.

*L* I love it! But 6 cans of beer around your neck? Sounds like it would be painful after a while. And wouldn't it be dangerous to open the cans after walking around with them for a while? LOL

I could totally wear one of these. Just to freak out my neighbours.
