I don’t know what would posess a woman to quilt herself a fancy-shmancy gun case, but that’s exactly what Faith sent us the other day, courtesy of “Not Your Daddy’s Gun Case!”

I’m cracking up at the handgun cases.  Imagine confronting a burglar and you gotta pull your Glock out of a paisley gun case that could pass for a tea cozy.  Course sending a burglar into a fit of laughter might be just the distraction you need!  Especially since you need to crack open the combination lock first.

   ha ha ha ha ha ha. I know people in my family who would be excited about this. They are SO well made. Nothing like spending Hours tricking out your gun case!

   Oh! Can I also special order a GPS-sized pouch, one to hold 3 flares, one for 6 linked magazines, a water-proof map pouch (a little interior pouch for matches would be nice) and a padded pouch that could double as a sniper shoulder pad? In Blue Chinz.

    I spent about 14 hours a few weeks ago sewing a gun case for my 8′ costume prop cannon. Quilting it didn’t cross my mind… 14 hours of wrestling with fleece and canvas was quite enough.

    Ha! Reminds me of a news story I read. A senior woman pulled a gun on a bunch of hoodlums that were breaking into her car. They fled and she got in and realized her key didn’t work. Cause it wasn’t her car. Whoops. She accidentally car jacked them.
