Saving For Braces | Craftastrophe

I found this on Flickr and got permission to use it this morning:

When my mom was in university, way back when, a friend of hers made this green monster. Somehow it wound up in my grandma’s living room and for years kept grandkids from sitting too close to the tv.

And from the photographer:

“The real shame is that I don’t have a photo of the back end to share with you – that’s where it gets truly scary: sort of concave, somehow, but well, it can’t be described.”

That last bit made me howl with laughter. It looks like it could snuff out a toddler with one cankle! The chin bone’s connected to the thigh bone…
